What is the Role:

 A multi-task position including virtual design, mechanical & plumbing design, and project management to be an integral team member in the growth of E3M Solutions. As a Virtual Designer Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside project teams to develop the BIM Model and Virtual Design standards.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in mechanical designs for various systems in AutoCAD & Revit.

  • Facilitate BIM services for various levels of project scopes.

  • Collaborate with others on project designs, Revit capabilities, and project-related experience.

  • Communicate and build relationships with clients.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD & Revit standards and templates.

  • Participate in conceptual development meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partake in R&D efforts on new technologies and solutions.

  • Continually expand individual, and team, expertise through company-supported education, training, and certifications.

 

What Will Drive Success:

  • Ability to collaborate and teach others but are also capable of working independently.

  • Be highly organized and prioritize tasks, completing multiple simultaneous projects on deadlines.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and equipment specifications.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients.

  • A desire for hands-on project development and customer contact.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

What requirements are there:

  • Minimum 3 years AEC industry

  • AutoCAD and Revit software experience

  • Electrical, mechanical, or plumbing trades experience preferred

  • Microsoft Office software experience

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (MEP) plus
