During the evaluation, E3M identified that the building’s electrical transformers — which convert 480V power to 120V for outlets — were significantly oversized for the current load. Under these light-load conditions, the transformers were operating inefficiently, resulting in 4–6% losses even when minimal power was being used.
That inefficiency translated into roughly $1500 per month in unnecessary electricity costs — a substantial amount for a space that hadn’t yet opened its doors.

By right-sizing transformers and aligning the infrastructure with the building’s real-world demand, Bamboo GR stands to save approximately $18,000 annually once adjustments are made.
