Energy Code to be Enforced on April 22, 2025 in Michigan for ALL Commercial Construction – Are You Ready?

The updated Michigan energy code will be enforced starting April 22, 2025 and impacts all commercial construction. The most significant change in the new energy code is required Functional Performance Testing (FPT). Less intensive and less expensive than full commissioning, FPT aims to verify the operation and performance of systems in a building.
