July was a full month at E3M Solutions, from major grand openings and industry events to team growth and a little time on the golf course. Whether we’re helping a new facility operate at its best, sharing what we know about Michigan’s changing energy code, or investing in our own team, it all comes back to the same goal: Believing in better. Here’s what we’ve been up to this past month.
A New Space for the Shelby Community
The Tiger Athletic & Community Center officially opened its doors in Shelby, Michigan, on July 29! Designed to bring people together and encourage an active lifestyle, the new community center offers indoor courts and fields, climbing walls, weekly leagues, fitness spaces, and more.
E3M Solutions partnered with the Tiger Athletic & Community Center to provide MEP engineering focused on long-term performance and energy savings. The facility’s electrical infrastructure was also designed to support EV charging stations, helping prepare the center for the community’s evolving needs. Projects like this are a great example of how thoughtful engineering can support a building not just on opening day, but for years to come.

Growth at E3M isn’t limited to the projects we work on. It’s also happening within our team. Consumers Energy Business Energy Efficiency Conference
E3M exhibited at the Consumers Energy Business Energy Efficiency Conference at Ford Field, where Eric DeVries presented on Michigan Energy Code updates and connected with professionals from across the state. We even had the chance to walk the field and tour the locker room.
AIA Detroit: COSM Tour
While in Detroit, our team joined AIA Detroit for an exclusive tour of the new COSM venue at Cadillac Square, one of only four locations of its kind in the United States.
CARWM Golf Outing
Alan Nicholson represented E3M at the Commercial Alliance of Realtors West Michigan golf outing, spending the day networking with industry partners and strengthening local relationships.
Mangrove Grand Opening
We’re proud to celebrate the grand opening of Mangrove’s new headquarters in Caledonia, where E3M provided commissioning services to help ensure the building’s systems were operating efficiently from day one.
